One morning before class, when I was running into the classroom, I knocked over the ink bottle on the teacher's desk, and the red ink spilt ① on the desk. I was sure I would be scolded by the teacher. Just at that moment the bell rang and I went to my seat.
“Stand up!” our monitor said loudly. I stood up and my legs were trembling.
“Who knocked over the ink bottle?” Miss Ye, the teacher, asked. I kept silent. Many eyes were fixed upon me. Miss Ye walked to me and asked in a low voice,“Did you do it?”
“No, no, I didn't, ” I said hurriedly②. My face turned red at once. I didn't know why I had told a lie.
“OK, I believe you.” She patted me on the head and then began teaching.
I felt very sorry. I knew I was wrong. So I went to see Miss Ye in the afternoon.
“I'm sorry, Miss Ye,” I said. “This morning I told a lie.”
“I saw the whole thing through the window when I was outside the classroom, ”she said. “But I didn't scold you. I knew you would come to tell me the truth because I believe you are an honest girl.”
I dropped my head without saying a word.
“I'm happy that you have come,” she continued. “You haven't made me disappointed.”
When I heard these words, tears filled my eyes.

I was afraid I would be late for school. I had no time to wait for the owner. So I gave it to the policeman.
Shortly after I reached my school, the headmaster came to my class and praised me in front of the class. How could he knew all about it? I guess it must be the policeman who told him what I did.

He ran to my grandfather with a smile and kept Shouting, "good New Year, good health and good luck." A couple of young couples came up behind and said with a big smile, "auntie, auntie happy New Year." "Good, good, good New Year." The grandparents were busy answering and greeting guests to sit down. At this time, grandpa's eyes narrowed into a crack, and the wrinkles on his face disappeared. Grandpa was radiant and busy, grabbing candy, catching seeds, and greeting guests. 英语啊英语，什么时候你才能同我的语文、物理等等科目统一战线，不拉它们后腿？人家说女孩子学英语比男孩子简单得多，可巧了，偏偏多出了我这个另类。看着零零61分，不禁叹曰：
无言独坐窗头，
心冷如冬。
无奈英语分数独自挂灯笼。
记不住，背不牢，
是英语。
别是一番滋味在心头。
自创小诗一首，以抒我对英语的`顽固不化之痛。再仔细分析试卷，第一大题选择题全是课内知识，是13单元土生土长的题型，我的做对率也为100%。后面的题基本上是课外阅读，结果做得惨不忍睹。另外语法题也很成问题。都怪平时积累甚少，遇到新单词就没折了，无法完全理解文意，也不了解那些词汇的搭配。很有可能那些单词我在课外练习时碰到过，但是没有耐心地去记。一遇到语法题，我就把“裤子”当“上衣”穿了，把“袜子”当“毛巾”来擦脸了，又把“擦鞋刷”拿来当“牙刷”使了，总之---一片混乱，搭配得相当的个性。不禁又曰：
昔时以乘黄河去，
卷上空留新单词。
时间一去不复返，
疏忽大意让人忧。
人词相望漠漠然，
老师叉叉环扣环。
只恨积累为时晚，
望望卷头使人愁。
又自赋小诗一首，以追积累甚少之恨。当然，也没有像诗中说的那么严重，我明白，现在开始，多和单词打交道还不迟，多做阅读练习还不迟，多补语法也还不迟。临中考以为日不多，但奔跑起来也该还不晚。另外，多向那些可能其他方面不如我，但英语比我强的同学请教，以光孔老先生“不耻下问”的遗德。
望自己日后能壮志满酬，能够：
夜里挑灯看英语，
梦里嘴角冒单词。
满屋里头荡洋文，
满教室里论英语，
中考点兵。
虽然可能离以上自赋小诗中有一些差距，没那么疯狂，但是，总之：
