Nowadays， computer has been part of our life， we use computer to study， to work and to communicate with our friends。 As people count on the network so much and they are free of everything， so they just do whatever they want。 Network provides people the new stage to show violence， they are rude and give the bad comment to other people。 We call it language violence。 Especially for the celebrities， they have been attacked by the rude words all the time。 A famous female star from Korea committed suicide because of the network violence。 The government took some actions to supervise the network and the users must be registered with their real names。 It worked and language violence has been controlled in some way。 We need to behave ourselves even without the supervision of law。

Today is my birthday and I'm so excited about it。In the morning I put a note on the table for my mum and it said，"Today is my birthday，don't forget it！"At school，I got many gifts and cards for my classmates and had a lot of fun。But I was still expecting the birthday party after school。
When it was time to leave school I couldn't wait to go home。When I open the door，there wasn't anybody in the house。There was only a note that said，"Coming home late tonight，mum and dad。"I try to call them but there was no answer。I was so shocked，do they forget my birthday？How could this be！I was so sad that I couldn't eat anything。I just did my homework and waited for them。
And then，things changed completely。It was about time for dinner，my mother called and told me to go to the restanrant near our house。When I got there I couldn't believed my eyes。Everybody was there：my parents，my relatives，my friends and even my classmates。There was so many gifts and a big cake。What a surprising birthday party！We had a good time and it was the best birthday party ever。

It is well known that university is greatly different from high school mainly due to that university will hold a large number of activities， which benefits college students a lot。 From my perspective， the most beneficial one is “Long-distance Running for Love” organized by the Students Union when I am a freshman。 The money collected by this activity is contributed to Project Hope。
It is really my honor to participate the long running， because it benefits me greatly not only in body but also in mind。 To begin with， the activity reminds me of the great importance of physical health。 Before I go to college， I only focus on academic achievements while the physical health misses my attention。 But， the long-running tells me in time that a sound mind lies in a sound body。 Additionally， during my participation in this activity， I am informed well that there are still many children in rural areas who have to drop out of school because of impoverished families。 Thus， for one thing， I fully realize the great importance of helping them fulfill their dreams。 For another thing， I cherish the opportunity to study in university more， for when compared with those children in poverty-stricken areas， we should harbor a grateful heart。
By and large， although I have taken part in many campus activities， I deem the long running for love most beneficial to me。 And I am looking forward to that more wonderful and meaningful activities will be held in our campus。
