Since the one child policy carried on, many families had only one kid. As the children growing up, they felt lonely, because they did not have anyone to accompany. They felt so envious when they saw others have siblings.

There is no doubt that the one child policy has controlled the population to increase so fast and helped people to improve their life lever. Recently, the government tends to open the second child policy slowly.

People hold the different opinion. Some people think that it is good to let the child have siblings, so they will not lonely and can learn the meaning of sharing.

Other people don’t want to have one more child because they don’t have enough money. They want to give the best education to the child, so they think one child is enough. Anyway, the second child policy gives people more choice.

My name is Li Hua. I was born in Dalian, Liaoning province in February 1977.

I started school in 1984 when I was seven. I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. After that I went to No.62 Middle School of Dalian and graduated this summer. The main subjects I studied at school included Chinese, maths, English, physics, chemistry and computer. I like English and computer best and I am very good at them. Last year I won first prize in the school computer competition.

China has the largest population in the world and English is the international language. There are a lot of funny things when Chinese people learn English. They will mix the words with their own language. Some very classic words have been created. Such as the sentence long time no see, it is the most classic words that were spoken by Chinese. Actually, the local people won’t say these words but they know the meaning. As these classic sentences are spoken by more and more Chinese people then the western people accept them. Today, more Chinese English have been admitted by the official dictionary. We can see the great influence from big country. As China is getting stronger, we are so proud of being part of it. The Family Plan has been adopted for several years, most of the young generation are only child because their parents follow the government’s policy. Over more than 30years, most family are made up of grandparents, parents and a child.

Here comes the problem, the society is facing an aging situation, more and more people are getting old while the young people are less.

For a typical family, four grow-ups are at the age of over 40 with a young kid less than 20years old. The aging society is getting more and more obvious, such phenomenon has been catch mass media’s attention.

The policy of one child has been doubted, it has been strongly advised that a family is allowed to raise two kids. I totally agree with that, it not only bring happiness to family, but also relieve the pressure of aging problem.

老龄化社会越来越突出，这样的现象引起了大众媒体的注意。

一个孩子的政策遭到了质疑，强烈一个家庭应该允许有2个孩子。我完全同意，这不仅给家庭带来欢乐，而且减轻了老龄化问题的压力。
