妈妈在贝尔美语给我报了个英语班，让我去学英语。听说那里不仅有中国老师，还有外国老师呢！上课的第一天早上我怀着好奇的心情走进教室，看见十一张椅子摆成了一个弧形，小朋友们依次坐下等候老师到来。

上课铃声响了，中国老师和外国老师亲切和蔼地走进了教室，并用英语跟我们打招呼，还做了自我介绍。老师问我们有没有英文名，我立马站起来说我叫“Jerry”,还有一个小朋友说他叫“Tom”,没有英文名的小朋友老师给它们每人起了一个。接着老师讲了些“classroom rules”, 当她做哭的动作时我们就说”No”，当她做把玩具让给别人的动作时我们就说“Yes”……老师还带领我们做游戏，我们围成一圈，老师报出一名同学的英文名，拿球的同学就必须把球扔给他，接到球的同学也照此做下去……

我们一路兴奋地向综合楼“进军”，到达综合楼，我们坐到各自座位上，便静静地等待老是的到来。一会儿，“主角”赵老师“登场”了，在平时早说了无数次的“上课、起立、坐下”声中，我们便进入了课堂。老师先让我们读了一遍小短文，然后又让我们写一个小练习，小练习写完之后，我们认真听电脑用标准英语读了一遍，听着电脑里富有感情的朗读上面的.短文，我们恍然大悟，原来这篇短文是这么读的，我暗想。接着，赵老师给我们出难题了：“谁能模仿一下这篇短文上两个小女孩的声音语调？”

这下我们全班沉默，在这几乎静止的状态下，有一只手高高举起，打破了宁静，那只手正是我的右手，有一股无名的勇气使我把手高高举起，不用说，赵老师点了那个惟一举起手的人——我。我便立马学着小女孩那奶声奶气的声音读了下去……“轰”一阵“惊天动地”的声音响了起来，那，正是听课老师珍贵的掌声。

这节课我表现得非常不错，还受到了很大的表扬。我想这节英语课，将永远留在我的莽林中。
