Making a trip to ShangHai on May 18 was an experience which I will never forget.

I arrived in ShangHai at about 2 o'clock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldn't see the other side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water was such a great joy that I didn't want to stop.Then I collected shells.When it got dark,I sat on the shore,watching the sea.The night scene was simply marvelous!

Finally I had to go back.It was an unforgettable day in my life.

We know our hometown Anji is very beautiful, it is famous for the bamboos. And our hometown is an ecological country town, Most persons of Shanghai like traveling here. They called Anji is Shanghai’s flower back garden; The start of Huangpu River.

But now, in order to attract more tourists, develop the industry of our hometown. The leader of Anji government announced an order: work hard for five years , make a new Anji. That means we will develop the industry . Maybe It will pollute the environment.

It is good to see that nowadays both the government and people are becoming more aware of environmental protection and ecological balance. What we need to do now is to put our words into our deeds. And this should start from every and each one of us ,and it should start from small instances.

Yes, the government has been doing a great job. And what about us? What should we ourselves do? Some of us may think that is quite difficult. But it can be as simple as: do not litter; and strictly observe the rules and regulations of the tourist areas. Use as few plastic bags and boxes as possible. When traveling, and whenever possible, use public transportation instead of always driving your own car.

It is not that far to reach, right? It is just as simple as the famous slogan for travelers in TianHuangping says, “Please take away nothing but your smile, and leave behind your but your footprint.” I believe that more and more people now are becoming aware of the importance of environment protection. Just imagine if you sit in the Large Bamboos Sea and taste the white tea of Anji, that is so wonderful and comfortable. So now let us turn our passion into action. Give ourselves a brighter future to head to. Leave our next generation a brighter, greener, and better world to stay in. If not us, who? If not now, when?

Travel-mate WantedI’m a 19-year-old female sophomore named Fu Ping. I hereby earnestly invite a foreign young lady—college student preferred—to make a three – week touring trip with me.My plan is to set off next weekend, when the summer vacation officially begins. The first stop is Kunming, the world-renowned city for its beauty and mild temperature. We’ll get there by train and stay there for 2 days, and then we’ll head for Jinggangshan, a former revolutionary base as well as a natural beauty spot. After a 3-day visit there , we will take a long-distance coach to a nearby port city by the Changjiang River and board a downstream ship to Shanghai, so that we can enjoy the great scenery alongside the third longest river in the world. As everybody knows, Shanghai is the busiest and fastest developing city in China. I’d like to have a look at its prosperity, so the stay there will be about half a week. And a famous Chinese saying goes, ”Just as there is Paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on Earth ”, so a 4-day visit to these two cities near Shanghai is must. It took us quite a few hours’ ride to reach the bank of the river,where we saw the Chunü Spring.It is one of the most famous hot springs there .The water of the spring is so clear that we couldn’t help diving into it.Our head teacher,together with us,swam happily.Floating on the water,I looked around .We were surrounded by the great mountains.

Then we got on some small boats.We had been longing to float on the Mother River.Seeing her powerful current and attractive beauty,I felt proud of being one of her sons.

It was noon before we knew it.We went ashore and then danced and sang happily on the grassland.We helped ourselves to the tasty fish,crabs and other food,which we cooked ourselves.

It was time for us to go home.We had to say good-bye to the Mother River.We all felt reluctant when we left her.
