为了提高我的英语学习成绩，放暑假的时候，妈妈为我报了一个英语学习班。

我第一次去上课，看到老师和同学们边做游戏边学习，感觉上课的气氛很好，于是很快进入学习氛围中，但是上了几次课后，就感觉到英语知识有些跟不上，所以上课总是没精打采，有时有不会的问题也不问老师，几次考试都考的很不理想，妈妈看到我这样批评了我，章老师也给我讲了很多的道理，最后我们约定，一个月以后看结果，如果我认真按老师的学习方法去努力，如果还是成绩还没有提高，那我就放弃这次英语学习。

自从和老师约定以后，我就试着按老师的学习方法进行。端正学习态度，不懂就问，要求自己每天必须看、读、背，认真听懂每一堂课。只靠每星期两个小时的学习，是不够的`，于是回到家我继续坚持读课文、看视频、背单词，有不会的问题问老师，以前我认为问问题会挨老师骂，可并不是我想象的那样，我不仅没有挨骂，反而老师还不断鼓励我，表扬我，使我在学习中得到了快乐。

时间一天一天的过去，我慢慢的进步了，第一次考了90分，第二次考了95分，第三次考了96分，我太高兴了，向100分冲刺了！学校的英语成绩也有很大的提高。事实证明我已经爱上了英语。

wu gang hurried to telephone 119 for help. then he ran out at once. he saw many people trying to put out the fire with water, and he quickly joined in. after some time, the firefighters arrived, the big fire was out at last. luckily, no house was destroyed by the fire and all the people were safe.

我问她为什么想学，婆婆说：“小时候没钱学，现在老了，想把它补回来，而且现在各国交流都用英语，我也想和外国人交流啊”。

我先教了她最简单的两个字母“A”和“B”，我教她发音，她发出沙哑而奇怪的声音，我觉得很好笑，但我忍住了。我又教了她如何书写“A”和“B” 两个字母，她的手像石头一样“硬帮帮”的，不是写得很好，我就叫她多练几遍，这样就能练好的。

吃完午饭，我睡了一觉，起来已是四点，婆婆坐在衣车旁，我看见她戴着一副老花镜，皱着眉头，驼着背，弯着腰，用她那僵硬的`手握着笔，颤抖地写着字。我一检查发现：她正练习“A”和“Ｂ”两个字母的抄写，虽然不是很标准，但也写得很认真，我问她从几点开始练的，她笑着对我说：“韦老师，我从中午１２点一直练到现在”。

看见婆婆那股认真劲儿，我有些惭愧。觉得自己应该向婆婆学习，你看，她那么老了，都对自己有信心，还心想着学习，无论做什么事，我们也应该对自己有信心。

I had a long holiday for National Day .I was very happy, because I could do anything I want.

During those days. I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then. I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting. Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents and to eat minority’s foods. We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink -and use the other the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes.underground- and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in ihe form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.

However, as. things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. Hut our need for water is increasing rapidly almost day by day. Only if wc take steps to deal with this problem now can wc avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. A limited water supply would have a bad effect on agriculture and industry. Let rne give you just one small example of how necessary water is to industry. Did you know that to produce a single ton of steel, il takes about 91*000 liters of water?

We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of Ihe first steps wc should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us. the systems are as important as the spacecraft.
