Some people's family style is warm, it is humorous... And my family is happy.
After lunch, mom and dad went to bed. I hurried over to let my father and mother do not sleep, because I was afraid they could snore and watch TV. When I was just about to talk to my bed, my father said to me, "do you look at me and your mother whose legs are long?" Hey! What do you say I should do?
Mother urged me, but I don't know what to say whose legs long, I think: if the father's legs long, the mother is very proud, Dad
I'm not happy to say that I always flatten my mother. If I say that mother's long legs, the mother would say, I always take my father.
Mom and dad like Yan Yan: sure to choose each other.
Just as I was hesitating, I had a sudden flash in my mind, that was to say goodbye and run out.
So, I used my way to do it, and it would be useful.
When I go, my father and mother are laughing. Is it so funny that I want to be so funny?

If I have a choice between studying at home using computers and television or studying in a traditional school setting, I’d choose the traditional setting . Maybe it’s just what I’m used to ,but I don’t think that technology can replace teachers and classrooms.
After all, technology can fail. Computers go down and computer programs crash. Televisions break, and the electricity can suddenly go off. In those situations, who's going to teach me? If I'm at school, and the television or the computers stop functioning, there's a teacher to step in and change the lesson plan. Teachers can draw on their teaching experience and be creative. Computers and televisions can't.
I'd also miss the chance to interact with other students if I weren't going to school. I think learning to play and work with other people is one of the most important lessons we learn in school. It prepares us for life, and for working with other people. Being with other people also helps us discover who we are.
Another concern I have about studying at home is getting distracted. It's strange, but I think being home alone is more distracting than being at school with a lot of people. At school, we're all focused on the same subjects. At home, it would be so easy to turn off the computer or the television and go do something else. I might tell myself that it's okay to play a computer game now and make up the study hours later. Chances are, I'd never make up the study hours.
I'm all in favor of using technology in the classroom. I think computers and television are great ways for students to have access to a lot of information. I just don't think they should be the only tools I have as a student. I also need teachers and other students to help me get a complete education.
family and personal development
family has a great influence on our personal development. if we are from a happy family, we tend to be cheerful and optimistic. if we are brought up in an unhappy family, we may grow up miserable and pessimistic. if we are not loved by our family, we may not learn to love others.
an ideal family should be a place where we can get warmth, help, comfort and strength. it should also be a source of laughter, and a good means to lessen the tension and pressure we all face every day. a family should be a place where we can cultivate our self-confidence, which is crucial to our further development and to our mental health.
since family plays a very important role in our life, it is up to every family member to contribute to the building of such a family. we should be considerate and understanding. we should love and show concern for each other. we should strive to establish a happy family. after all, if every family is happy, the whole society will be stable.

To Make a Home Sweet
Goethe said, "He is the happiest, being king or peasant, who finds peace in his home" It is true. Home is the warmest place in the world. Home is the harbor. No matter where you are, you would like to be back home in the end.
Home is the place which we often need to build. In order to create a kind of warm and intimate atmosphere, we must respect and understand each other. As a member of the family, it is not right to demand perfection from each other. The proper way is to cultivate flexibility, patience, and sense of humor. Parents can be more open-minded and trust their children, and the children should understand their parents' pains. If we have spare time after supper, we may often communicate with each other and talk about what happened in the daytime. This type of conversation, called "small talk", is of great importance because it often helps deepen the feelings between parents and children.
If we do so, I believe our home will always be sweet.
China debates 'family values'
Most Chinese agree the family is undergoing tremendous change. But views on what that means run the gamut. Some feel society is headed for serious disorder due to a loss of values like sacrifice, family loyalty, and fidelity. Others see a better China emerging after a period of shakeout, with greater choice and maturity.
At one level, the fight is between traditionalists and progressives. Many of the former feel that an avaricious new money culture will corrupt China and send it into uncharted waters. They see women becoming sex objects and couples devaluing each other. They see the years from 1950 to 1980 as a stable period of happiness, when moral values were predominant and families found meaning in serving the state.
"The opening up of the 1980s is only now showing itself in the way wives and husbands are chosen," says Xia Xueluan, a professor at Beijing University. "Now, when a girl meets a boy the first question is, 'Do you have a house? Do you have a car?' This causes great strains in marriages, and on husbands, to produce income. I'm worried."
Progressives feel that few Chinese want to lose recent gains like choice. Both sexes are more liberated, they feel. In the past, marriage was limited by family background. Divorce was not allowed, often not even in abusive, dead-end situations.
"In the past, there was no money and people were forced to rely on others. The choice for a better life was simple: struggle for food and shelter," says Dong Zhiying with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. "We all lived together and ate at the same table; we had 'salty or sweet' depending on what was available. Now you can order your own dishes."
Many in China do feel problems with the money culture are underestimated, but don't want a return to state dictates in their private lives. They feel that an obsession with grades, colleges, and jobs has led parents to ignore a traditional emphasis on good behavior, modesty, and politeness. They are troubled by studies showing rising levels of early teen sex and recent cases of teens involved in homicides. They want a form of new moral education that teaches a humane social contract.
There is much controversy today about whether television has destroyed communication among family and friends. Some people argue that the communication is baffled by television. Others criticize that television improve the relationship of family and friends. I totally agree with the latter one.
Watching TV is a time for the whole family to stop from whatever they are doing to get together. While watch TV, they start to talk about the content of the movie, which is also a kind of communication. Imagining the TV disappears, we would do reading in rooms, while our family would do laundry, do washing dish or going shopping. It simply provides a chance for us to stay together.
In addition, the TV supplies us with much information, which we have not known in our daily lives. Some of the constructive movies show on TV, like a family story, a love story, or so on, reinforce the relationship of a family and friends. What's more, we learn from the story that it is important to cherish the broiling of a family and friends.
At last, it is a kind of recreation that a family or friends can choose to have. Communication can be undertaken by many means, for example, going shopping together, entering a bar, talking intimately about ourselves. In effect, watching TV is a way to let us together and share our happiness with each other.
In my opinion, TV provides us opportunity to be together and communicate. In this diversified society, TV doesn't destroy communication among us but show us another way of getting together.
