妈妈很赞同我的做法。为此，还表扬了我。

去年，我参加了“人教派斯杯”全国少年儿童英语风采大赛。当我顺利地通过初赛的时候，全家都为我感到高兴。当我通过复赛，获得了到北京参加决赛的机会时，全家人更为我欢呼。

去年暑假，我和爸爸妈妈一起开开心心去北京参加比赛，虽然我只拿到了一个“优秀奖”，但是妈妈鼓励我说比赛重在参与。
