这个暑假一开始,妈妈就给我报了个音标班,说是要我好好学学音标,无奈,母命难为,我只得答应。
第一天去上课,我跟着妈妈忐忑不安地推开教室门,哟,已经有7个“小豆丁”端端正正地坐在那儿了,看样子是、三、四年级的,7、8岁的小孩居多,唯有一个和我差不多大,升五年级的。我傻了眼,呆呆地站在那。妈妈推了我一把,让我坐在第一个桌子旁,等着老师来。没过几分钟,一个二十几岁模样的'大学生走了进来,她披着一头微卷的金发,长着一张漂亮的鹅蛋脸,水灵灵的眼睛让人看得入了迷,红红的樱桃小嘴分外惹人眼红。大家发出了一声“哇”,老师笑了笑,用清脆的声音说:“同学们好,我是教你们音标的老师,你们可以叫我‘Sherry’老师。现在,我来为你们起英文名。”她走到我身边,问道:“你叫什么名字?有英文名吗?”“我叫胡磊,没英文名。”我 望着她,轻轻地说。“那就叫你‘Mandy’吧!”老师笑眯眯地说。“好!”我异常高兴。老师一圈走下来,大家都有了好听的名字:Jiji、John、Sandy、Jack……教室里是一片欢呼声,老师拍了拍手,开始教我们音标,她告诉我们音标有48个,分为元音和辅音,元音又分为单元音和双元音,辅音则分为清辅音和浊辅音。她给我们讲了5个元音字母相对应的元音音标,并告诉我们这几个音标的口型。大家听得仔仔细细地,连最小的孩子也不曾开小差。说完这些,老师又带我们玩起了“拍气球读音标”、“魔法手指”、“憋气”。同学们玩得不亦乐乎,个个脸上露出了灿烂的笑容……
不知不觉中,下课了,大家恋恋不舍地走出教室,盼望着下一次上课的时间……

这学期我报名参加了英语培训班,每个星期上课一次,学的是《彩虹与风筝》,还有《迪士尼英语》。
我们班上有七个同学,他们是Mini、Ami、ken、Tony、Wendy、Anna,还有我,我的英文名字叫Mary。同学中Mini给我的印象最深刻,他的年龄最小,上课的'时候常常要让他的妈妈坐在旁边陪着,玩游戏的时候他会经常跑到教室外面去,惹得我们哄堂大笑!还有Tony和Wendy,他们两个上课的时候老是吵架,老师经常让我坐在他们两个中间,这样他们就不吵架了。通过一个学期的相处,大家都成了好朋友!
为了让大家上课认真听讲,同时做好课前的复习、预习,老师在课上要求我们用英语回答问题,答对问题的小朋友就可以加分。下课的时候我们就按照分数的高低来拿礼品。这个学期我经常拿冠军,校长还请我和其他班的冠军一起吃饭呢!
通过一个学期的英语学习,我学会了用英语问候、自我介绍、讲小故事……我发现我挺喜欢上英语课的。下学期我一定要继续努力,周周拿冠军,让他们羡慕去吧!

i live in hollywood. you may think people in such a glamorous, fun-filled place are happier than others. if so, you have some mistaken ideas about the nature of happiness. many intelligent people still equate happiness with fun. the truth is that fun and happiness have little or nothing in common. fun is what we eperience during an act. happiness is what we eperience after an act. it is a deeper, more abiding emotion.
going to an amusement park or ball game, watching a movie or television, are fun activities that help us rela, temporarily forget our problems and maybe even laugh. but they do not bring happiness, because their positive effects end when the fun ends.i have often thought that if hollywood stars have a role to play, it is to teach us that happiness has nothing to do with fun. these rich, beautiful individuals have constant access to glamorous parties, fancy cars, epensive homes, everything that spells "happiness".
but in memoir after memoir, celebrities reveal the unhappiness hidden beneath all their fun: depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, broken marriages, troubled children, profound loneliness. the way people cling to the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free life equates happiness actually diminishes their chances of ever attaining real happiness. if fun and pleasure are equated with happiness, then pain must be equated with unhappiness. but, in fact, the opposite is true: more times than not, things that lead to happiness involve some pain.
as a result, many people avoid the very endeavors that are the source of true happiness. they fear the pain inevitably brought by such things as marriage, raising children, professional achievement, religious commitment, civic or charitable work, and self-improvement.

我们来到教室“叮叮叮”美妙的上课铃响了。精神抖擞的Miss Wang快步走进教室,要带我们去她的home,Miss Wang的家。大家都很兴奋。Miss Wang在讲台上提问,同学们踊跃举手发言,教室里的`气氛越来越热闹了。
Miss Wang说:“我们来做个小游戏。”大家都跃跃欲试“叽叽喳喳这是小鸟的叫声”我一听就知道是living room客厅,便举手。另外的同学也不甘示弱把手举得高高的。Miss Wang问:“living room?”“yes!”大家大声说,似乎前面有一只巨大的烤鸡,要扑上去吃。电视上果然是客厅。“yes!” “对了!”一声声的欢呼声犹如解放军打了胜仗,凯旋而归一样。“1、2、3!”Miss Wang喊到,“3、2、1!”大家马上坐好,眼睛睁得大大的,似乎是找到了蛛丝马迹一样。我们听着。每一次都说对了,一阵阵欢呼声从教室里传出来。我们情不自禁地溶入到这个快乐的气氛中去。

昨天下午,阳光明媚,我准备去上英语课,心情特别高兴。
到了英语班,我发现了极大的变化,树木长大了,玩具变新了,地上铺上了一条长长的的'彩虹,我好想在彩虹上睡觉。
走进里面,发现有许多新老师,我希望我的英语老师没有变,我走上前,墙上挂着我的老师的图像,我走到班里也发现有许多新同学,我有点尴尬,开始怀疑我是走错了班级。
到了第二节课下课,我们排着队下楼去,我不知道出去外面干什么?老师告诉我们要去抽奖。我领到了一个气球,因为紧张,手脚都变迟钝了,我捂着耳朵用力一踩,没有破,再来一脚也没有破,我生气了,不再捂耳朵上前狠狠地踩了一脚,啪一声,气球破了,着实把我吓了一跳,扑通扑通地跳了半天。
我发现气球里面有一个白色纸条,上面写着,一盒小玩具,我拿到玩具后,老师还给我拍了一个照片。
虽然只是一个小小的玩具,但是我并没有后悔。当然,我也很羡慕人家的大礼品。
