上周，ViVi老师让我担当学校英语卡拉OK比赛的主持人。我既兴奋有紧张。兴奋的是能在老师、同学面前展示我的风采，紧张的是我连中文小主持都没做过，何况做英文主持？但我还是暗暗下决心，一定要做好英语小主持。

主持时间为本周二至周五的中午。在主持前一天，我在ViVi老师的帮助下完成了演讲稿。

回家后，我反复朗读，发现有几个不能确定发音的单词，请教了字典老师，在边上注上了音标，才完整地读了下来。

周二的五六年级比赛开始了，我上台的步子那么小，速度那么缓慢，脸蛋红红的，手心不停冒汗，连话筒都湿漉漉的。我紧张极了，读每一个单词都是那么小心翼翼，生怕自己会读错。一句句台词中，不是这个单词读错，就是那个单词发音不标准，有的地方还要搭档提醒……主持时真是状况百出。虽然已到了秋末初冬，我的头上还是布满了密密的汗珠。

放学回家，我飞快地做完作业，又开始主持稿的练习。

周三，我明显感觉轻松了许多，能较熟练地朗读了，真是一天比一天好了！

时间过得飞快，像长着飞轮，转着转着就到周五了，是学校英语卡拉OK比赛的汇报演出。校长来了，老师来了，家长来了，同学们来了，把小礼堂挤得满满的。经过前几天的磨练，我已能完全脱离演讲稿，有时还会蹦出几句赞美选手的`话语。紧张的情绪完全消失了，取而代之的是微笑与轻松。

这个星期，我虽然比其他同学少了中午休息和学习的时间，但我觉得很值得，因为通过担当英语主持人，是我的胆子练大了许多，给我的童年时代增添了不可磨灭的快乐！
