周日的时候,我参加了英语口语比赛的复赛。地址是在人民路财富大厦六楼,时间是下午三点到4点半。比赛内容有两个,首先是自我介绍和才艺表演,然后是看图说话。妈妈说,前面我们可以准备准备,后面的内容就没办法了。所以,周日早上起来后,妈妈就让我开始准备第一部分的自我介绍和才艺表演的内容。这部分内容是妈妈帮我准备的,还和我讲了中文的大概意思。背起来可不容易。妈妈先要教我慢慢理解意思,还要教我怎么发音。一句句的教,前一句会了,就学下一句,然后两句连起来背。再叫第三句,学会了,就三句连起来背。刚开始的三句,还不难,到下面就有点难了。妈妈让我觉得难的地方就告诉她,有的内容就去掉了,因为总共只有两分钟的时间,不能超时的。妈妈说,我只能控制在一分半钟,因为要想到正式上场的时候有可能要楞住而浪费的时间。那天的`时候很难熬!我对妈妈说,正希望是星期六,这样我还可以玩一天。

我们下午2点离开家的,到那里的时候大概2点半吧。我们进了准备的教室。妈妈说,教室里空气不太好,人太多了,不如到教室外走走。我没答应。一会,妈妈把我们同学张文静找来了,她也来参加比赛的,不过和我不在一个组,比我要早一点。我都已经是一组内的最后一个了。妈妈让我和张文静在外面玩玩。我和张文静就在教室外讲话,跑来跑去的。妈妈还让我和张文静两个人先表演一下。后来,张文静先轮到了。妈妈和张文静爸爸在聊天。我就一边跑来跑去的复习稿子。我对妈妈说:“我全忘掉了,怎么办?”妈妈对我说:“不要背了,忘掉就忘掉吧。其实你已经背得很熟了,再这么背下去,就显得你的自我介绍时间太短了。”可我还是不放心。

终于轮到我了。我这一组就剩两个人,除了我还有一个一年级的弟弟,长得比我高半个头呢。他在幼儿园的时候就参加过了。他的自我介绍很短,然后唱了《十个印第安》的歌曲,还讲了一个故事。图片说得不多。然后是我,我把我的自我介绍讲完后。我就选了5号。结果出现的一幅图是一个医生和一个女孩。内容太少了。我想到的是医生是爸爸,女孩是他的女儿。爸爸下午不上班了,女儿看见爸爸回家,很开心。但我没有那么多词汇,不知道如何讲出我心目中的故事。妈妈说,要好好学,多学点,才能把心中所想的说出来,要不就像哑巴一样了。

Since I was small, I like to play basketball, because I was effected by my father, he likes to watch basketball game so much, I will watch the basketball game with him. So when I went to school, I joined the basketball team in my class, we made up of a basketball team.

Last week, we had our first match. I was asked to play in the first time, I felt so nervous, I am so afraid that I could not cooperate with my team well. When the match started, I watched the basketball and moved as the ball flied, I forgot my job, I was asked to cover the team leader.

I recognized my mistake, I changed my move, at last, I covered our captain successfully, our team won the game. I learned so much from this match, team work comes first.

从我小时候起,我就喜欢打篮球,因为我收到了爸爸的影响,他很喜欢看篮球比赛,我会和他一起看比赛。所以当我上学的.时候,我加入了班里的篮球队,我们组成了一只队伍。

上周,我们进行了第一次的比赛。这是我第一次叫去比赛,我感到很紧张,我怕我不能和队友好好合作。当比赛开始的时候,我看着篮球,随着篮球移动,我忘记了自己的职责,我应该要掩护队长的。

我认识到了我的错误,我改变了移动,最后,我成功地掩护了队长,我们队赢得了比赛。我从这场比赛学到了很多,团队合作是最重要的。

Once a year a field and track sports meet is held in our school. This year it took place on 22nd. Over six hundred people, including teachers and students, entered for this meet.

It was the last day of the sports meet. At about three o'clock in the afternoon, there came a voice from the speaker:“Next item is the girl's 400-metre relay race. Runners please get everything ready!”On hearing this, the four girl runners of our class, Helen, Jane, Nora and Dinah, gathered quickly by the track and did some warming-up exercises①. With strong determination, Dinah said to her teammates, “We should win honour for our class and put up a good show.” After some time, teams from six other classes were entered. “On your marks,”the starter ② ordered. Then came the pistol shot③. At the sound of it, the first runners shot from their starting points. Many eyes turned to a thin sixteen-year-old girl named Helen who started very fast and became the first one. Soon the second runners already moving, grabbed ④ the sticks and raced on. Nora, the third runner had the stick and took the lead. Already running, Dinah reached for the stick. She was flying three or four steps ahead of the others. Dinah urged herself, “Faster! Faster!” We cheered for her, shouting at the top of our voice. Bit by bit, she pulled quite ahead. It was too late for the others to close the gap and we all sighed with relief. At the finishing line, Dinah was the first one that reached the end.

At that moment, nothing would have been more exciting. We laughed, shouted, and we were very proud of our heroines ⑤. We praised them for their good team work⑥.

When we at last received our certificate of award⑦, everyone in our class was smiling a happy smile. Though it was different from the champion of Olympic Games ⑧, we all thought that it was no less exciting.

为了活跃校园文化生活,营造良好的英语学习氛围,为六年级书面表达题做好准备,以便着手开展培优辅导工作。我校举行了六年级英语作文比赛,现将活动情况总结如下:

本次活动,六年级共有180名学生参加了比赛,50名同学进入了决赛,最后30名同学获奖。经过充分的赛前准备,在学校领导的大力支持下,英语研修组进行了精心的组织和安排,无论是从试题的命制,还是监考,到最后的`阅卷,总分,奖品的书写方面,各个工作人员都能够认真负责,使活动有条不紊得进行。可以说,这次活动举行得很成功,通过作文比赛,使学生和教师共同了解了目前学生学习的状况,通过寻找差距,激发了学生学习的兴趣,也带动了一大批英语学习爱好者迎头赶上。

通过本次活动,我们认识到,在今后的日常教学中要一如既往,持之以恒的对学生进行训练,培养学生良好的学习习惯,争取在考试的书面表达题中提高得分率,取得好成绩。
