英语作文 篇1
With the improvement of living level, the goods' package have become more and more complicated and exaggerated. Thus, the phenomenon of the excessive packaging is common around us. Such as Mid-autumn moon cakes. But what factors contribute to this phenomenon?
Firstly, as we all know, a large number of markets and stores think that goods which are well-decorated could attract consumers and inspire consumers to purchase goods. So they can earn more money. Secondly, consumers hold the idea that the more elegant the goods look, the better quality of the commodity is. What's more, the government didn't make relevant rules to prevent this phenomenon.
Personally speaking, excessive packaging has a bad influence on our environment, which also wastes precious resources. So we should increase our awareness of consuming and save rare resources. At the same time, some useful measures should be taken by the government. It's high time we took action to prevent this situation. Only in this way can we put an end to this trend.

"singles day" falls on every november 11th, and as the name indicates, this relatively new holiday is one exclusively for people who are still living the single life. i was a bit surprised when i googled 'singles day' on the internet, to find that china is the only country in the world that has set aside a special day for singles to celebrate their lives. to find out more about this celebration, read on.
origin of singles dayan old story goes that once there were four single men, leading very boring lives. none of them were married, or had lovers, or did anything exciting. they just sat around all day and played mahjong.
one day they played mahjong from 11 in the morning until 11 at night. during the game, no matter who won, the winning card was always the 'four columns' card (the card shows four independent, parallel columns in two lines). even more of a coincidence, it was nov 11, or 11/11. in order to commemorate the day, they nicknamed it "singles day".
university culture"singles day" was first celebrated at various universities in nanjing, capital city of jiangsu province during the 1990s. it got the name "singles day" because the date is comprised of four "ones". these college students have since graduated, and carried their university tradition into society. singles day is now a special day for all fashionable youths.
the main way to celebrate "singles day" is to have dinner with your single friends, but it's important that each person pay their own way to show their independence. people also hold 'blind date'parties in an attempt to bid goodbye to their single lives.creative celebration for breakfast on "singles day", singles often eat four youtiao (deep-fried dough sticks) representing the four "ones" in "11.11" and one baozi (steamed stuffed buns) representing the middle dot.

英语作文 篇5
In some counties, teenagers have jobs while they are still students. Do you think this is a good ideaSupport your opinion by using specific reasons and details. Is it advisable for a teenage student to have part-time job The debate about whether it is advisable for a teenage student to have a part-time job has been ignited. Considering that negative effects will be incurred, it is believed that owning a part-time job is not supported. However, flaws of participating a part-time job pale to insignificance when compared with merits.
Admittedly, a part-time job, which requires the teenager to engage in job different from one’s major, does not make sense in terms of the improvement of self-ability in future career. For an architecture student, it pales to waste his talents and free time if he is arranged to serve as a waiter in the restaurant. Although some flaws exist, part-time job will benefit teenagers a lot.
Part-time job can help teenagers eich their resume, build important contacts with companies and familiarize them with the contemporary state of their respective fields. For instance, in last summer holiday, Li lei, an architecture student in Xi’an jiaotong university, served as an interior designer in Hongmayi company, a well-known decorative company in China. He said that he harvested a lot about drawing skills from predecessors. Furthermore, up-dated information in the field of decoration could be achieved by him. Nowadays, he still kept a connection with employers. After he graduate from college, he might return to his part-time company to look for a full-time position, or approach other employers with good references and experience.
The sense of achievement that comes from part-time job can build students’ confidence. The success they have achieved can remind themselves that their value in society. Since they aware that significant role they play, efforts in studying must be doubled so that they will perform better both in school and home. Better performance will lead to full confidence, which is a virtuous cycle.
To sum up, part-time job is advisable for teenagers to participant. Not only can it help young children to build bridge with companies, but also can it increase children’s confidence.
英语作文 篇6
do you condemn yourself for things which you did--or failed to do--in the past? everyone does this at some point. however, if you want to lead a successful and productive life, it is imperative that you release the past and not blame yourself for events which have already transpired and which cannot be changed.
the successful person takes this approach: learn from past mistakes and make adjustments in future behavior. the strategy of berating yourself for past conduct solves nothing and only serves to lower your self-esteem. you create a vicious cycle where negative experiences and negative feelings are reinforced, which leads to more negative outcomes and more negative feelings.if you insist on dwelling in the past, i suggest that you focus on your past successes. visualizing and thinking about past successes is an excellent way to build confidence and self-esteem. what you think about is what you become. therefore, when you concentrate on your successes, you help to create future successes.when you find yourself starting to dwell on past negative experiences, immediately halt and remind yourself: "there is nothing i can do now which will change what happened. i learned a valuable lesson and will act in a more constructive manner next time." regardless of what you have done--or failed to do--the only sane approach is to accept it and move forward.
this is faith at faith radio online-simply to relax. the successful individual does not waste precious mental energy dwelling on past events which cannot be changed. instead, he or she uses past mistakes as learning experiences and springboards to future successes.

Finding a Good Job is not easy.
College students in China may choose jobs by themselves. So everyone can make his own choice of his career before graduating.
Job hunting by students has had a big impact on campus. Students have become more practical and eager to develop their manifold abilities to meet the challenges in their future jobs. Since state-allocated jobs are no longer guaranteed, stone students are willing to work in private companies because of higher pay and other benefits, whereas jobs of high academic
level lose part of their former attraction. If the link between graduating from college and becoming a state employee is cut, a large number of fee-paying students may go to college, and so a mass high education is possible. This is indeed a trail blazing
reform in China's higher education system.
Finding a good job is not easy. There exist many practical obstacles at the present stage of reform. First, there are few service centres available to help them. Second, students often fail to recognize how good a job really is. Third, colleges usually ignore social demands in their programs and students are not always fully prepared for their new jobs. And finally, the existing restrictions, sexual discrimination, nepotism优待亲戚; 裙带关系and bureaucracyXXX, 官僚作风adversely affect job competition. Nevertheless, students don't have to worry about unemployment, because the well-educated are badly needed in the rapid development of China's economy.
