Because most people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. 老北京的春节庙会

春节，俗称过年，除一般年俗外，庙会则为旧时北京过年的主要习俗。除了人们所熟悉的厂甸之外，五显财神庙(初二至十六)、东岳庙(初一至十五)、白云观(初一至十九)都是有名的庙会，最富有北京过年的特色。
