Today I’m very tried for I made my homepage from 10:00 yesterday to 5:00 today. Seven hours nearly let me dead. I want to kill my bother named kewang because every time and every day he makes me very tried. If yesterday he hut you, tomorrow he will heart you. Oh, my god. I finish this dairy at 12:00 in the night. I will write thirty passages three days later. It’s a good beginning. I remembered the word: practices makes perfect. 我今年八岁了，是黑芝麻胡同小学一名一年级的小学生，过了暑假就要升入二年级了。刚入学的时候，妈妈就给我报了英语课程班，开始我不太喜欢学英语，课前不预习，也不按老师要求点读，根本达不到老师的要求，学不好英语，我自己也很着急。

有一天放学回家，妈妈催我赶快点读当天的课程，我没有照做。于是，爸爸让我翻开课本读一读，我根本读不出来，大部分单词都不会，爸爸也着急了。正好要放寒假了，我决心把英语赶上去。每天，我早晨起来后就一遍一遍地点读课文，然后背单词，最后达到熟读课文的水平。经过几天的努力，终于把一个单元的`内容学会了，有时候累得真想哭呀！就这样，我坚持每一个上午的英语学习，不到一个月，就把一个学期的内容都学会了。

第二学期开始了，我明显能够跟上老师的进度了，每天坚持点读、背诵课文。一共进行了三次考试，我从第十一名逐渐提升到了第三名，老师还专门让我向全班同学介绍学习经验。

一年级结束后，我被分到了精品班，现在我每次课堂听写、读书、背诵都很熟练，我也真正地喜欢上了英语。俗话说：“世上无难事，只怕有心人”。只要能够坚持，就一定能学好英语。

今天下午，我去参加了由我的英语学校阳光外语学校组织的英语亲子派对。

在派对上，并不是只有表演节目，唱歌跳舞等等。在派对上还有阳光外语学校老师的发言，跟家长们讨论怎样才能让孩子学好英语，怎样才能让孩子掌握英语，会说英语。

首先，英语是什么呢？其实英语是一种语言，是一种才能，它会在你长大后出国或者与人交流时更加方便。

首先，讲了英语的教育改革，时下，英语的中考，高考改g已经成为了教育类的热门话题。从20xx年开始，高考英语实行等级制考试。考生可以多次报考，以最高成绩为准。虽然英语退出了统一的高考，但是并不代表不学英语或者高考不考英语，即使不考，也一定要把英语学好，因为如果你学好了英语就等于掌握了另外一门语言，会给你带来很多方便。那么方便之处在哪里呢？假如你长大后出国留学，不会说一口流利的英语，你根本就无法与其他国家的人交流；如果你去国外吃饭，学不好英语，有可能你连点餐也不会，造成不必要的麻烦。你学好了英语，在国外与人交流非常方便，在国外办事，逛街，吃饭等等也有很多好处。而且在跟外国人交流时，如果你的口语够流畅，够优美，外国人也会觉得中国人非常有素质，也很有才。

英语讲究的是四个字，如果你掌握好了这四个字，你就会学好英语。“听说读写”这四个字非常关键。在家长的眼中，无法四个条件全部满足，最多就只是监督孩子读读课文，给孩子听写单词，但是家长提供不了孩子听和说的机会，所以会感觉英语很难，与人交流很尴尬。“听”，就是讲究学习纯正发音，提高听的能力。在家里，有些孩子根本就不听录音，一定要多听录音，模仿发音。最好的'方法还有一种，就是多听英文歌曲和多看英文原声电影，也能增强你的理解能力。“说”是最难的一项，像我一样，遇到了外国人，就放不开自己，不敢跟他们打招呼，总是怕说错。一定要勇敢的去说，找一个合适的语言环境，单独跟外教交流，时间长了，你会觉得你与外教沟通的能力和词汇句子量正随着时间慢慢增长。英语也就变得很简单了。

It Pays to Be Honest

Nowadays people are troubled with mass of dishonest behaviors in society. Teachers get annoyed when they catch students cheating on exams; consumers get hurt when they unfortunately buy some fake products; children are misled when they see their parents tell lies so as to evade the responsibility they should take.

Why do people cheat? The main reason probably lies in immediate interest they may obtain by cheating. For example, a company, which manufactures fake products, may seem to win for a moment because it can minimize its manufacture cost by doing so. This kind of businesses, however, will be driven out of the market in the long run. For the consumers after getting to know the poor quality of the products will not buy them anymore.

The same is true of individuals. Dishonest people dare not take on the responsibility of life. They cheat in class, in office, at home and so on. But the truth can hardly be masked. The moment the truth comes out they will lose their credibility, which is easier to destroy than to rebuild. Consequently, these dishonest will suffer a long time because of their cheating behaviors. In conclusion, no one can afford to be dishonest in a civilized society.

Honesty is the pillar of a society. People will benefit from being honest in the long run. That's why we say it pays to be honest.
