As can be seen from the charts more and more people own mobile phones in China now. At the end of 20xx, there were 20 million mobile phone users. By the year 20xx the number has reached up to 30 million. People have found mobile phones very convenient. They can get in touch with each other whenever and wherever they like. There are many different functions to meet different needs, such as sending short messages and surfing the Intemet.

However, it may also bring us some trouble. For example, if someone calls you by mistake, you will have to pay for this kind of unnecessary calls. And the radiation from the phone may do harm to our health, In spite of this, the number of people having mobile phones is still increasing steadily.

Last week,our class had a parents’ meeting.At the meeting,all the parents talked about whether doing a lot of homework was useful or not.Many parents thought that doing much homework was useful,but a few parents disagree.They thought it takes a lot of time.Most parents thought that it can develop students’ mind.Others thought sudents can’t have a good rest because of it.Some parents thought it can stop students playing computer games.Others disagree,they thought it stops students doing the things they like.

I think too much or little homework are bad for students.Too much homework will make them stressed out,and few homework will make them be lazy,because they’ll have too much time to play,won’t they?

It is believed by the Chinese that the dead become ghosts roaming between Heaven and Earth unless they have descendants to care for them during the Ghost Festival. During this month, the gates of hell are opened to free the hungry ghosts who then wander to seek food on Earth. The reason why the Chinese celebrate this festival is to remember their dead family members and pay tribute to them. They also feel that offering food to the deceased appeases them and wards off bad luck. People now release river lights as an important activity during this time, since it is said that river light can comfort and warm the homeless ghosts. In some areas, visitors may also see small roadside fires, where believes burn paper money and other offerings to appease the restless spirits who have temporarily been released from Hades.

One day, Tom was playing football, suddenlly, The ball was kicked too high to be touched, the ball was hunging in the tree. Mr.Green was coming with umbrella when Tom had not known how to deal with it?Tom asked politely :"Could you please help me ,sir?" Mr.Green was really headache at that time , but he found that there was a umbrella in his hand ,so Mr.Green caught the ball with the umbrerlla, the ball fell down finally,Tom was very happy, and he picked up the ball and went away without saying thanks.But Mr.Green found that his umbrella was hunging in the tree,he felt very helpless, and seeing Tom had gone, he told himself:Could please help me?

Maybe at that time,Tom was too happy to help Mr.Green, Maybe Tom was selfish so he did not help Mr.Green.But no matter what is the reason , please remember to help others who need your help.

All the people in the earth spend their life on many kinds of item,such as family,friendship,career and so on.And we will rush into trouble when going for someting.We seem to walk into a forest as we are lost and go without a accurate direction.And then we get down,be frustrated.We need the passion of our life.Futhermore,what we lack in to overcome hardship is a willing heart,which helps us build up confidence and light our way to the beautiful future.

With a wll,a beggar can become a millionaire.With a will,nothing could stop a determined man stepping forward.We all have a goal,and we were born for it,a pure and wonderful expection.It is the movitation of our life.Only if we hold a will are we able to face a storm and expect for a sunny sky.So it is never too late to keep a wll.

Recently we held a class meeting to discuss the problem of pedestrians crossing the street while the traffic light is red. As we could see, some pedestrians don’t obey traffic rule ,and jay-walk frequently. This blocks traffic seriously affects drivers and causes accidents to happen, endangering the safety of pedestrians and drivers alike. In a word , jaywalking produces negative effects and does not help to develop good social behavior.

It is really a pity to see all this in our society, and to deal with the situation , the government has taken some measures. When caught jaywalking, pedestrians are reprimanded so that they will become aware of the dangers of doing this , or they are fined on the spot. Sometimes the traffic police will report jaywalkers to their workplace and expose them to the public. However, it will still take a long time to stop pedestrians from jaywalking.
