英语班的老师上课很有趣，她用联想法教大家认识英文字母和音标，她说Ａ长得像铁塔，在铁塔旁种了小绿豆就是a，小绿豆长大开花了，飞来许多蝴蝶，大家看到蝴蝶很开心，所以笑得嘴巴都裂开了。老师也会用夸张的动作，吸引大家更认真的'听课，但是如果有人上课不专心，老师就会不客气的拿出水枪对着他喷水呢！

每次上课，老师都会小考，第一次小考时，我有好多题不会写，我紧张得哭出来了，老师不但没骂我，反而安慰我说：“不会写没关系，我们就是不会才要来学呀！只要回家再多练习就好了。”回家后，妈妈每天帮我复习，我一遍又一遍的练习，到了下一次上课时，我终于考到一百分，老师称赞我进步很多，我听了好开心！

上英语课有很多作业要写，也要常常复习，不过老师说，虽然现在比别人辛苦，以后就会比别人轻松了。所以我要继续努力坚持下去，把英语学好。

为了英语能考出好成绩，几乎每个家长都使出浑身解数，把自己的孩子推到各种辅导班。浪费了大量的人力物力，还有时间。可这对边远山区的孩子公平吗？外公所在的小学根本就没有英语课，就是想上英语辅导班，也找不到地方。外公经常说：真不明白，为什么一个外国的语言却决定着很多中国的孩子能不能上好大学，真是国家的可悲。是呀，农村的孩子到中学才开始上英语课，我们却已经在辅导班把初中的英语课程学完了。农村的孩子出生便倒在了英语的起跑线上，可悲，可叹。

我不反对学英语，英语也绝不应该和我们的语文数学同比，可以和历史，地理这样的小学科并列，这样既可以把我们的传统文化发扬光大，也给了山区，农村边远地区孩子一个和我们站在同一起跑线的机会。
