“妈妈，我回来了！”我边说边走进自己的小天地，等着妈妈像往常一样收拾桌子盛饭给我吃。过了一会儿，我走出小房间看到妈妈仍坐在那儿读英语。“嗨，看来妈妈今天要走火入魔了。”我轻轻地嘀咕着，“过一会儿再说吧！”我就回到房间拿出作业做了起来。

作业做好了，我抬头向上面的挂钟一看，呀，不得了，已经一点钟了，我一点半还得去上课呢！再看看妈妈，她还像一个机器人似的，只有眼睛、嘴巴在动。唉，还是自己盛饭吃吧。

我来到厨房，把所有的锅盆都掀了一个遍。天啊，竟然连一粒米饭，一滴菜汤都没有找到。这时，我想到自己的小房间里有饼干，冰箱里有冷馒头。我只好将就着吃了一只冷馒头和几块饼干，再加上一杯牛奶当了一顿午饭。然后，我就去上课了。唉，这事还没有完呢。一连几天我和爸爸都对付着自己准备好吃的。

b第五天，我放学回家。天哪！家里面到处贴着英语标签。凡是我能够看到的物品上都贴有英语标签。我在屋子里转了一圈，整个房间都快变成了英语王国了。这时，妈妈出现在我的面前，自豪地对我说：“怎么样，布置得还不错吧，这样学英语就方便多了。以后你们也就不用再做我的'家务代理人了。”说完，她便乐呵呵地一边背着英语单词一边走进厨房去烧饭菜了。

于是，我又吃上了美味可口的饭菜。“嗯，这样对我学英语也有帮助……”我一边吃着香喷喷的饭菜，一边想着，心里不由升起一种对妈妈的敬佩之情。
