我自信满满的走进大厅。妈呀！吓死我了！这里居然聚集着这么多人。有五年级学生、老师、各年级的英语老师。嗯？还有两个老外！看来，我今天得好好表现了，为自己、为班级而争光。

比赛开始了，我是28号，也就是最后一名，我感受到我的心就像一个调皮的'小精灵一样，跳得七上八下的——好紧张。该我了，我走上台，感到腿有点发软，好像马上就要瘫在地上了一样；手有一点发颤，好像马上就要把话筒掉在地上一样。当我看见两位老外在默默地为我鼓掌时，我便又鼓起勇气，继续往下背。我的腿不再发软了，我的手也不再发颤了，我的精神又饱满起来。

因为我有一点拘谨，所以只得了二等奖。我很失望，因为我原来可以得到更高的分数，但我依然很开心，因为我体验到了我以前从来没有体验过的感受，还受到了一个使我一生受益的启发：只要有付出，就一定有回报。

第二节课开始了我们的吕老师说：“这一节课我们要来学习单元音里的前六个，同学们，这一节课一定要认真听讲，因为下了课以后我们要人人都过关，我可不想让那一个同学留下。”于是我们好像都打起了精神准备开始学英语。吕老师每让我们学完一个单元音就组出好多带那个单元音的英语单词。然后我们把六个单元音学完以后，吕老师就让我们一个一个站起来过人人关。我读完之后就是王悉璇，但我认为王悉璇读的比我要好得多。然后等我们全班都闯完关的时候，老师就给我们布置了作业，然后我们就放学了。
