Last year, I became a middle school student. At first, I was so nervous about my new life. When I walked into the classroom, there were so many strangers in front of me. I looked down my head and had no idea where to sit down. Then a girl smiled at me and asked me to sit next to her if I wanted. I felt so happy and found my desk. The girl’s name was Li Hua. She helped me to get familiar with the environment and get to know other classmates. I was so thankful to her, she was such a nice girl that we became good friends. I cherish our friendship so much.

这几天我听见姥姥嘴里一直念叨着一个词，我仔细一听原来是个什么“还楼”。我奇怪地问姥姥：“你这这念叨这个词干什么？”姥姥神秘地说：“过几天你就知道啦！” 一天下午，我放学回到姥姥家，听到姥姥还在念那个“还楼”，我不耐烦地问姥姥：“你到底在念什么呀？”姥姥说：“我在学英语呀！”“学英语！”我吃惊的大喊一声。姥姥说：“我是听你舅家的小弟弟说的`‘还楼’呀！”“姥姥，还是我来教你学英语吧！”
第二天，姥姥见我放学了，就赶紧放下手中的活，洗干净手，坐到沙发上。我也坐下来，姥姥说：“快教我英语吧！”我说：“OK!”姥姥问：“OK是什么意思？”我说是好的意思。姥姥说：“我知道了。”
以后的日子里。我还教了姥姥许多单词，比如：NO（不），Thank you（谢谢你），等等

要说我敬佩的一个人，那就是我的妈妈，她长得不高也不矮，瘦瘦的，好象一阵风就会把妈妈吹倒（开个玩笑），妈妈学英语。接下来我就给你讲讲妈妈学英语的事。
那时我才上三年级，学校里开了英语课，每次老师说要我们回家读课文们回家读课文给家长听，可是好多地方妈妈不懂，我读错了她也不知道，而且我不会读的单词和课文也没有人帮我辅导，为这妈妈和我都很苦恼，几天以后妈妈做了个想象不到的决定：妈妈要学—英—语。我和爸爸都不敢相信自己的耳朵。
妈妈说到果然做到，她先去买了许多英语教材和磁带，然后又去报了英语班。可是大多数英语班都是教小孩子的`，好不容易才找到一个教成人英语的，妈妈很高兴。
妈妈一开始学英语很困难，爸爸劝她说：“你现在都三十多了，记忆又不好，没有年轻时的脑子好用了，反正也学不好，不如别学了。”我也劝妈妈不要那么辛苦，可妈妈就是不听，她说：“我不能半途而废，有始无终，我一定要坚持，要给璐璐做个好榜样，不是吗？”然后妈妈有接着背单词、读课文。因为妈妈基础不扎实，所以要从三年级的教材开始学。晚上我们叫妈妈睡觉了，她说：“你们先睡我过一会就睡”。我们就没管她。12点多了我起来喝水，看见妈妈还在看书就劝她早就休息，她点点头说：“再学一会”。到了第二天，我们看见妈妈的眼睛红红的肿肿的，也不知道昨天晚上几点才睡，爸爸生气的说：“你爱惜点自己的身体好不好？多大的人了，眼睛还要不要？”我也对妈妈说：“你这样是会影响上班的。”妈妈只是笑笑，照样我行我素，爸爸一生气就把妈妈报的那个英语班给退了。妈妈知道后很伤心，不理爸爸了好几天。我们以为妈妈伤心过后就不学了，但我们错了，妈妈照样坚持着，自己边学边找老师，就这样妈妈坚持了两年多，终于学会了英语，现在我的英语也有人帮我辅导了，我们能在家里进行简单的英语对话，我的英语成绩也慢慢的上升，我真为我的妈妈骄傲。
要是我们在学习上、做事上也能向妈妈这样坚持不懈，我相信，再难的事也能完成。
