学英语对我来说是一件非常轻松地事情，我从2年级就开始学英语了，这次，我又换了一个学英语的学校，到东方城里的英语班去学英语了。
在东方城的英语班，老师的要求非常的严格，要我们默单词，背课文。一开始，我非常的不适应，经常被老师留下来，背书背不出来，经常像挤牙膏一样，老师提醒一句，我背一句。默写也会错很多，在默写的时候，我不会，好多都空着，而且左看看右看看，希望抄到一些答案，结果要重新默写。爸爸妈妈也很担忧我的现状，于是，他们教给我了一种学习方法，让我每一天早上一起来，就打开复读机听英语，之后我发现，听着听着，我就把一课背了下来，现在，不仅我会背老师教过的一课，而且还会背诵老师还没有交的课文呢！这样，我就良性循环，越来越好了。在星期六的`时候，老妈会对我的单词进行检查，把不会背的单词用红笔圈出来，一直反复检查，直到我会了为止，这样，我在上英语班时再也没有抄过别人的答案，而且正确率明显提高了。上英语班时，有一些不会背书的同学拿着书在拼命的记忆，可是最终的结果还是不会背而像我这样会背的，则拿着书在那儿无所事事，直到老师叫我背为止。
从这次上英语班的经历，我懂得了一个道理：“只要掌握了好的学习方法，让自己走在前面，那你的成绩就会越来越好，反之，不做作业，阴天拖稻草，越积越多，你的成绩不可能好，所以要在任何方面走在别人的前面，你就会做出最好的自己，使自己的优点全部发扬光大。”

中考英语作文有2道作文题：一是在汶川地震中，9岁学生林浩救了2名同学，然后步行7个小时到达安全地点。请考生就林浩的事迹，以LearnfromtheHero为题，给学校英语专刊投稿。二是要求考生写一封回信。2篇作文都给出了提示词。
韩老师说，中考一直以来都是考记叙文，但20xx年这篇属于夹叙夹议。这提醒了今年的中考生，要注意练习写议论文，而不能只拘泥于记叙文。在英语作文中，最容易出的错就是跑题，抓不住重点。如有些考生知道林浩的'事迹，因此将作文未给的提示，如具体地震日期5月12日、林浩是班长、林浩被评为见义勇为少年等信息全部写上。这些虽不是不能写，但置提示词于不顾，非要挑战高难度，显然是本末倒置。
中考作文不是考生新句型的练兵场，考生要确保写作的每一句话都是正确的，没必要非尝试长难句不可。提示词实际上已涵盖了文章的重点内容，考生只要按部就班按中文句子和提示词将句子翻译出来即可。可惜有的考生并不领情，舍提示词不用。
