many colleges and universities have expanded their enrollment since 1998. the reasons for the expansion are as follows.

firstly, they want to keep up with the need of the job market to produce more qualified people to take up the jobs. secondly, the expansion has entitled many high school graduates to the right of receiving higher education. last but not least, it can raise the intellectual standards of our nation.

however, studies show that the trend to expand has brought about many problems. for instance, the teaching facilities and accommodation capacities of many colleges and universities are limited and are unable to meet the demand of an ever-increasing number of the newly enrolled students. on the other hand, the average quality of the freshmen is declining. in the long run, hunting for a job will be a tough thing for the graduates and that will inevitably exert much pressure on the prospects of employment.

in spite of all this, i am still confident that the expansion of enrollment is of great benefit to our society and is a good thing. with the development of our national economy, the problem as mentioned above will be solved if proper measures are taken.

As we all know,mobile phones bacome more and more popular.They play an essential role in our daily life.When we are enioying the convenience that mobile phones have brought us ,we are now faced prombles.

Most of the people hold the opinion that mobile phones is vital for us ,it makes our life colorful and meaningful.When we are bored in spare time,We can watch movies ,listen the music,and play games without opening a computer.What’s more,it enables us to keep in touch with our friends and family more conveniently and quickly.

But every coin has two sides,another part of the people claim that mobile phones still causes many serious problems. first and foremost,the electric wave radiation which is thought to be harmful to us.Secondly,we usually waste much time to playing mobile phones.Last but not least,people are addicted to playing mobile phones ,it is life-threatening.There are some traffic jams are caused by mobile phones.

All in all,different people have different views about mobile phones.I personally think its pros outweigh the cons. Mobile phones are one of the indispensable tool in our life at present.We can live a higher quailty life attribute to mobile phones.

With the development of science and technology, it is much more common for people to buy goods through different kinds of media than before. People can buy things such as computers and necklaces through TV, radio, the Internet, etc.

For one thing,it's no doubt that that cars provide much convenience for people to go where they want to quickly and easily. Especially on weekday,driving a car can save a lot of time for us to go to work.When some places are too far away from our home, driving our own car is also convenient, we can go wherever we want. However,for another, too many cars will lead to the pressure of public transport, a series of problems will appear.First of all,it will bring about more air pollution,a large amount of polluted air given off by cars do great harm to our health .What's more, as the existing roads are not so wide for the increasing number of cars,undoubtedly,traffic jams will become more and more serious. Last but not least, cars also place burden on the public facilities in providing more parking lots. As far as I am concerned,everything has its advantages and disadvantages. It's high time that effective action must be token to limit the ever growing number of cars, the government should take measures to control the air pollution from the cars. Some roads should be widened and more new roads should be constructed. Only in this way,will people benefit from the popularity of cars.
