Taxi-booking apps are bringing back an old issue to China's netizens: Is high-tech benefiting or harming the society?

In 20xx, many urban dwellers complained they frequently could not get a taxi in big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

Beijing-based office worker Yu Na frequently worked as late as 10 pm, and every time she tried to head home, she was rejected by taxi drivers. The reason: she lives in Tongzhou district, an area taxi drivers say is too far.

When businesswoman Qian Weiwei left Beijing Capital Airport and told the taxi driver she was heading for the Wangjing area, she was asked to get out. The reason? The distance to Wangjing from the airport was too close, and the driver could not make money.

Now that the information age boom has made smartphones popular, high-tech companies have developed apps to book a taxi.

The first app, Yaoyao Taxi, for example, connects a passenger to taxi drivers. The passenger sends his location, destination, and sometimes even a "tip", and if a driver thinks it is a good fare, he or she clicks a button and goes to pick up the passenger.

书面表达的写作步骤大体可归纳为“审”、“列”、“写”、“润”、“查”五个字。具体说来就是：

1. 审： 即审题。考生拿到书面表达题时，首先要认真审题，弄清题目要求，并从总体上确定写作内容。具体操作时，同学们要特别注意以下“三审”：审体裁，审人称，审时态。

2. 列： 即列要点。通过审题，要将内容要点用提纲的形式逐条列出来。这里要注意不要遗漏要点，从书面表达的评分标准我们可以看出，内容要点在评卷中的地位是十分重要的。同时注意，写作内容有主次之分，罗列要点时要注意确保主要内容，适当涉及次要内容，坚决刎除无关内容。

3. 写： 即是将要点整理并写成合乎要求的短文。审题列出要点之后，第三步便是“写”了，这一步根据情况又往往有不同的操作方法。对于基础较好的考生，他可以根据要点直接“写”成文章;对于基础稍差一点的.考生，他可能是把第二步列的要点逐条“译”成英文(当然这里的“译”显然不能直译，而应是意译，并要根据情况适当增加使语句连贯、通顺的连词或副词等);也有的考生这样做：他先将要点中的关键词写出来，然后根据写作内容将关键词连成句，并进一步将句连成文。我们认为不管上面哪种办法，只要考生操作得当都是可行的。

4. 润： 即润色。同学们在一口气写完之后，应该对所写文字进行加工润色，不仅要考虑使用一些表连贯的连词或副词，以增强文章的连贯性、流畅性和可读性，而且还要有意识地将一些“低级词汇”处理成“高级词汇”，将一些“简单结构”处理成“高级结构”，以突显文章亮点，增加得高分的机会。

5. 查： 即检查。书面表达写成之后，要从头至尾读一遍，并从语感、语法、行文逻辑、习惯表达等方面进行检查，发现有错误要及时纠正。检查还有个任务就是字数问题，按照评分标准，字数在书面表达题中占1分。

一、用较高级词汇替换第一反应词：

在写作的过程中，很多考生习惯第一反应想到哪个单词就使用哪个单词，比如谈到“好”就是“good”，而第一反应词往往是比较简单的，甚至不适合书面语言，所以千万别一想到某个简单而顺手的词就立刻下笔，而是思考它的同义词。思考后考生会得到4到5个同义词，这里的任意一个词都可能会比你想的第一个词复杂些。通常考生想到的第一个词是平时使用较多的词，也是比较简单表意比较笼统的词，所以放在口语中使用更加适合，而写作用词最好用书面词汇，并且书面词汇会比起第一反应词的笼统，表意更加具有指向性，进而可以使文章语言更具生动和真实性。

二、学会用多个同义英语词汇表达一个中文意思

在中文中习惯“求同不求异”，所以我们习惯用同一个词来强调某一个概念，而在英文中正相反“求异不求同”，所以就要学会用不同的词来表示同一个概念。

三、句型要尽可能多样化

高考英语写作其实就是一个“SHOW”，你要在短短几十分钟内秀出你学了十几年的英语就要学会尽可能地多使用自己会的句型和语法知识。尤其是在作文中非常好用的“非限定性定语从句”“时间状语从句”等等。

四、连接词要常用

五、字要尽可能公整

No calls from home, though I knew exactly what she was doing then. She must have turned away from the phone so as not to see it, and continued to do the endless house work as usual.

No choice is perfect in the world. But I will always be grateful for the priceless gift that day gave me: the wisdom to know that all our experience in life does not make us less but more able to love.
