The Olympic Games (often referred to simply as The Olympics or The Games) is an international multi-sport event subdivided into summer and winter sporting events. The summer and winter games are each held every four years. Until 19xx, they were held in the same year. Since then, they have been celebrated two years apart.

The original Olympic Games began in 776 BCE in Olympia, Greece, and were celebrated until CE 393. In 18xx, the ancient Olympic Games were revived at the initiative of a French nobleman, Pierre Frédy, Baron de Coubertin, thus beginning the era of the Modern Olympic Games.Since the first modern games, in Athens, Greece, participation in the Olympic Games has increased to include athletes from nearly all nations worldwide. With the improvement of satellite communications and global telecasts of the events, the Olympics are consistently gaining supporters.The most recent Summer Olympics were the 20xx Games in Athens and the most recent Winter Olympics were the 20xx Games in Turin. The upcoming games in Beijing are planned to comprise 302 events in 28 sports. As of 20xx, the Winter Olympics were competed in 84 events in 7 sports.

Which is more important, health or wealth? When given this question, different people havevaried answers. Some insist that health plays a more important role in our life, while others see more advantages arising from wealth.

The first group of people quote the old saying "Health is above wealth" to prove their idea. They argue that, on the one hand, a strong person can do almost anything as long as he/she tries hard. On the other hand, however, rich people will not be able to enjoy the wealth if their days are numbered.

In contrast, the advocates of wealth have such arguments as follows. For one thing, wealthy people will be able to buy more healthful foods. For another, they can enjoy better facilities to improve their health. Take my neighbor, Lao Wang, as an example. He had a heart attack and is in hospital. However, he cannot afford the expensive operation, which costs as much as 100,000 yuan. Therefore, he has to lie in bed hopelessly. If he were a rich man, his life could be saved.

As far as I am concerned, both health and wealth are important to our life. We should try to strike a balance between them and gain wealth with a healthy body.

In my opinion , though the appreciation of the idol itself gives little cause for criticism. The young should admire and imitate their idol in a proper way. It is not worthwhile for the young to hurt themselves or spend extravagantly to imitate idols. What we should learn from the foreign celebrities is not their life style , but their spirit of perseverance and diligence. Only in this way can we benefit from the idol worship.

So you should learn how to be polite to others before you act.
